Find your mentor at the Mentoring Programme Pitch Meet Up!

Apply for the Meet Up on Tuesday, 21 October 2025 at the Hybernská Campus. During the event, you will have the chance to present your projects in the form of a short pitch, sharing your intentions, goals and expectations.

Mentors will be in attendance and will select three projects to advance to the semester-long mentoring programme.

The second round of the SIGMA – Proof of Concept (TA ČR) competition is now open!

This offers a unique opportunity to turn research results into real innovations. A total of CZK 7,531,250 is available to be distributed among ambitious projects with the potential to transform science, technology and society. We focus on the pivotal 'proof of concept' phase, when an idea is proven to have future application potential.

Apply for a grant from the Charles University Foundation Fund!

The Fund is opening three calls for student project proposals that promote mental health, well-being, and resilience. Students of musicology, Finnish and Swedish can also apply for grants to support their studies, research and publications.

Charles University has become a member of the Prague.bio platform.

Since June 2025, the university has been part of the Prague.bio platform and initiative, which connects research institutions, start-ups and industrial partners with the aim of developing the biotechnology sector in the Czech Republic. CPPT UK will coordinate this initiative on behalf of the university.

Alongside the other members, Charles University aims to strengthen the biotechnology ecosystem in Prague and across the Czech Republic, opening new opportunities to connect science, innovation, and business.
