This free practical series of 6 workshops is designed for PhD students, supervisors, and academic and research staff of Charles University from all 17 faculties. During autumn 2026, under the guidance of experienced founders, investors, and technology transfer experts, you will learn how to validate the market and societal potential of your research, how to legally protect intellectual property, how to present results to partners or investors, and how a start-up or spin-off operates in a university environment.

Our in-house lecturers can join your classes, meetings of academic and research staff, or events at your department or workplace. The content can be adapted to your specific audience, topic, length and format. Lectures and workshops are available in both Czech and English and are offered free of charge to UK departments and workplaces.
