Apply for a grant from the Charles University Foundation Fund!

The Fund is opening three calls for student project proposals that promote mental health, well-being, and resilience. Students of musicology, Finnish and Swedish can also apply for grants to support their studies, research and publications.

Don't hesitate to submit your project proposals. Applications will be accepted by the Charles University Foundation from 1 October 2025. You can find all details on the Charles University Foundation's website.

Charles University has become a member of the Prague.bio platform.

Since June 2025, the university has been part of the Prague.bio platform and initiative, which connects research institutions, start-ups and industrial partners with the aim of developing the biotechnology sector in the Czech Republic. CPPT UK will coordinate this initiative on behalf of the university.

Alongside the other members, Charles University aims to strengthen the biotechnology ecosystem in Prague and across the Czech Republic, opening new opportunities to connect science, innovation, and business.

The 4EU+ international project management course has been successfully completed!

Led by CPPT on behalf of Charles University, the 4EU+ Entrepreneurial and Intrapreneurial Project Management international course concluded with a two-day final meeting in Warsaw. After seven months of work, the individual teams presented their results to a panel of experts and received their final grades and prestigious CELSA – Sorbonne Université diplomas.

Innovation in healthcare: a new challenge with EIT Health Challenger!

Take part in the eight-week hybrid Challenger programme, running from October to November 2025. Designed for students, graduates, innovators and start-ups, it offers the opportunity to advance healthcare with your own ideas.

The programme involves working in teams to solve real-world healthcare challenges and offers valuable experience and contacts, as well as a €4,000 prize for the best teams.

The second round of applications closes on 30 August 2025!

SEED4EU+: Call for proposals open until 3 October 2025.

The 4EU+ Alliance has announced the third round of its SEED4EU+ initiative, which provides financial support for innovative projects that aim to strengthen cooperation between its member universities. Academics from the eight 4EU+ member universities can submit joint proposals for innovative projects that will strengthen the strategic alliance and encourage other university communities to participate in the creation of a "One Comprehensive Research-Intensive European University".
