The team of the Centre for Knowledge and Technology Transfer consists of three parts:
• the central team of the Centre for Knowledge and Technology Transfer that is based in the Petrská street
• technology scouts operating at faculties of the Charles University dealing with medicine and science
• coordinators in charge of knowledge transfer operating at faculties of the Charles University specialized in humanities
The technology scouts and knowledge transfer coordinators are professional faculty employees who have been trained in intellectual property protection and in cooperation of scientific workers with the application sphere and who represent a link between the faculties and the Centre for Knowledge and Technology Transfer.
Currently, the team of technology scouts and knowledge transfer coordinators consists of 40 employees. The team is called a scouting network. The scouting network has been developed based on the project of the Charles University Innovation Network.
