            The Ethics of AI is a free online course created by the University of Helsinki [ URL "http

            www.helsinki.fi/en"] . This course wants to encourage CU students across the faculties and
            learn
            • what AI ethics means,

            • what can and can’t be done to develop AI in an ethically sustainable way,
            • and how to start thinking about AI from an ethical point of view.

            * Who is this course aimed at?

            • CUNI students from all faculties and specializations are welcome, who are interested in 
              of the artificial intelligence.

            * Aim of the course

            In this course, you will:

            • Discover why AI raises concerns about its ethically acceptable use and development
            • Become familiar with the ethical questions and concepts related to contemporary AI.
            • Learn how to combine ethical concepts and theories with AI by doing practical exercises.

            • 2. Non-maleficence: what should we do?
            • 3. Accountability: who should be blamed?

            • 4. Transparency: should we know how AI works?
            • 5. Human rights: should AI respect and promote rights?
            • 6. Fairness: should AI be fair and non-discriminative?

            • 7. AI ethics in practice: how might AI ethics develop?

            * Course completion requirements

            • The course is evaluated as a credit, meaning that students may fail or pass it (without 
              credits 

            • Completion of the course requires:
              • Successful completion of at least 90% completed exercises and minimum 50% correctness.
              • Filling out the questonnaire with the feedback – HERE [ URL "https://forms.office.com/

                 – where you should paste a link to the certificate issued in the online course. Follo
                course supervisor will give you credits in SIS.

            * How is the course evaluated?

            • Assessment is based on exercises, including multiple choice quizzes, numerical exercises

              that require a written answer. The multiple choice and numerical exercises are automatic
              and the exercises with written answers are reviewed by other students (peer grading) and
              by the instructors.
